Porch Swing

Where your mother calmed you at night
Where I first saw you
Where we shared our first kiss
Where we spent hours talking about nothing
Where gave each other all we can give
Where I proposed and you said yes
Where we soothed our own children
That porch swing housed the best moment of my life
But now I sit here swinging
You pushing me,
But its not your gentle touch,
Its the breeze biting my shoulder for you have gone to sleep
Each creak of the swing
Bringing me further down
I lost my being
But still I sit for hours rocking, dreaming of your voice
The wind stopped
I can no longer breathe
The swing breaks.......
